Project Title: Developing Knowledge and Skills of Computer Technology Program Students to Meet the Needs of Labor Market (CTech)
Introduction
Gaza Community College for Tourism Studies (GCCTS) has received a grant from the Quality Improvement Fund (QIF)-Ministry of Education & Higher Education and Funded by the World Bank, to implement the project entitled "Developing Knowledge and Skills of Computer Technology Program Students to Meet the Needs of Labor Market". Accordingly, GCCTS seeks the selection and employment of highly qualified Entrepreneurship Consultant (EC) to be responsible for the design, development and implementation of a training guide on entrepreneurship skills.
Assignment Objective
Gaza Community College for Tourism Studies (GCCTS) is now considering the selection of a professional and qualified local expert to:
Design basic training methodology in the area of entrepreneurship skills development.
Train and mentor a group of academic staff on entrepreneurship.
Design basic Entrepreneurship guide for the trainers on entrepreneurship skills development.
Tasks and responsibilities:
The entrepreneurship consultant will be responsible for, but not limited to the followings:
Prepare the contents for the Entrepreneurship guide for the computer technology department and related departments.
Develop and conduct a training program for mentoring and coaching of the academic staff, to be able to provide and mentor the development of business plans through the entrepreneurship course provided to college students.
Entrepreneurship skills development program will offer basic training to staff covering ideas generations techniques, business models, business planning, basic financial record keeping, marketing, costing and practical business skills, etc.
Training is followed by individualized business planning, mentoring and advisory services to support trainers in planning for their best practices to solve problems specific to their innovations.
Design and develop criteria for evaluating business plans.
Cooperate with project team to conduct a final evaluation workshop.
Present the methodology and the content of the guide in the evaluation workshop and reflect the recommendations on the Entrepreneurship course contents
Deliverables:
Detailed Action plan.
30 training hours for the target group.
20 coaching and mentoring hours for the target group.
Basic entrepreneurship skills guide in both hard and soft copies, this guide should be in Arabic supported with English vocabs.
Comprehensive final report demonstrating a participatory training approach and a list of post training actions for improving entrepreneurship literacy.
Minimum Qualifications:
At least a Master Degree in Business Administration/Management, Economics, Engineering or a related field.
At least three years of experience in Entrepreneurship Skills Development training in technical and higher education institutions.
Excellent reporting skills in both Arabic and English languages.
Demonstrated excellent training delivery skills.
Very Good computer skills.
Good presentation and communication skills.
Place of work: GCCTS
Level of effort and time frame: The tasks of this assignment is to be delivered within three months with a total level of effort from the entrepreneurship consultant of about 25-30 working days.
Start Date: 01/04/2019.
Contract Type: Lump Sum Contract
